Troop 2 Profile

Troop 2 is chartered by Faith Lutheran Church in Flower Mound, Texas.  The troop currently meets every Monday night from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the church gym. We work on Scout skills and advancement during part of the meeting, and try to plan at least one camping trip every month.

The troop's adult leadership always tries to make sure that all troop activities are planned and carried out by the Scouts themselves, with minimal input from us whenever possible. We feel that by operating the troop in the traditional "patrol" method, the Patrol Leaders have a greater appreciation for responsibility and what it takes to be the leader of a group. It also gives the patrol members more input into planning and carrying out the activities that they are involved.
